EPCON is a health technology company that uses artificial intelligence to control epidemics. The company helps countries in Asia and Africa fight diseases such as tuberculosis.

They track, analyze and combine health records with contextual data to uncover current epidemic risks and predict their evolution. This presentation is intended to explain the possibilities of artificial intelligence and at the same time the challenges for fighting epidemics. Caroline Van Cauwelaert explains the possibilities AI offers for this problem, and also looks at the challenges.
