Mishka Nemes

I am a researcher working at the intersection between learning design and up-skilling in AI, product & community, and Responsible AI & ethics. I have experience in managing complex programmes of work and involving a wide range of stakeholders, and in establishing new areas of work and ways of collaborating. I am passionate about building products around community and user groups that enable the sum of the contributions to be larger than the siloed projects.

Motivated by my scientific background in neuroscience, AI and genetics, I am interested in building products and in growing communities towards responsible AI use and ethical implementation of AI systems.

A.E. Jaques

I'm currently a Senior Researcher at MIT, where I founded and direct the Ethical Computing Platform. I was previously an Interdisciplinary Research Fellow at Stanford, and I have also worked at Apple. My research focuses on what we should do about technology, especially artificial intelligence. I've also worked on several projects aimed at rethinking the way ethics is taught to engineers. At the moment, I am writing a book about how to understand and manage the social impacts of AI. My PhD is from MIT.
