Stijn Bijnens

Stijn’s career started in 1995, when he founded NetVision (later, Ubizen), a pioneer in network security and managed security services. When the company was acquired by CyberTrust and later Verizon, Stijn was VP Security Solutions. From 2008 to 2018, he was CEO at LRM, an investment company owned by the Flemish Government. Innovator and business manager at heart, his interests include emerging technologies and their integration into business models, the triple helix model on innovation, coaching of young entrepreneurs, cybersecurity & IT risk management, and more. He is a visionary leader and believer in ‘the trinity of innovation: 5G, AI and hybrid cloud’, Stijn Bijnens has been at the helm of the Cegeka Group since 2019, until 2025.
