Flanders AI Policy Plan
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is transforming the world, and it's set to permeate all aspects of society and economy, including in Flanders. But how can we ensure AI becomes a lasting success? How can we keep Flanders at the forefront for the benefit of its people, society and economy? These ambitions are outlined in the Flanders Artificial Intelligence (AI) Policy Plan. The first and second five-year cycles (2019-2023 and 2024-2028) were approved by the Government of Flanders on March 22, 2019, and March 22, 2024, respectively. We aim for AI adoption to drive innovation and economic growth in Flanders, leading to a sustainable digital future that prioritises people's well-being.
