Digital transformation is about people. Or it is nothing. Organizations invest in platforms, licenses and implementations. The people who actually have to work with them often come last, if there is any budget left. When that happens, it is not the technology that fails. It is the conditions around it. I’m Thomas: keynote speaker, strategist and digital transformation expert. I help organizations break that pattern. I give keynotes and strategic advice on digital transformation, AI and digital skills for industry federations, businesses, education and government. My motto is: technology is never the problem. The people who have to live and work with it are or, more precisely, they can be, if you get the human side wrong. That's why I want to work towards organizations and people who don’t just keep up digitally, but remain digitally sovereign in the age of AI. My background spans web design and digital strategy to my current role as Head of Education for Digital Innovation at HOGENT. I understand the technology, the people who have to work with i, and the generation that will work with it next. Technology changes. The core does not.
