HPC Formation 2026
The CÉCI presents, each year during Fall, a full-fledged training program for researchers using, or planning to use, the CÉCI clusters. The whole offer goes from “baby steps into the Linux world” to parallel MPI programming and GPU computing. Training sessions are organised mainly in Louvain-la-Neuve and delivered in English.

day 3, 5 November: Bash Scripting and code versioning
day 4, 12 November: Submit jobs with SLURM
day 5, 19 November: Organise your work and storage on HPC
day 6, 26 November: Development good practice and scripting languages
day 7, 3 December: Compiling and debugging
day 8, 10 December: Introduction to scripting language (Python and Julia)
day 9, 14 January: Parallel Computing
day 10, 21 January: Shared Memory and Slurm for complex jobs
day 11, 28 January: Programming on GPU
day 12, 11 February: Scripting for HPC (Python and Julia)
day 13, 18 February: Handling Data on HPC
