Teachers / speakers
Sabine Demey
Sabine Demey is the director of the Flanders AI Research Program. She brings together researchers from 10 research partners in Flanders (universities and research centres with imec as coordinating partner). Together they tackle challenging AI Research Challenges and apply the new AI methods in healthcare, in industry 5.0, for the energy transition, in society. She believes it is important for technological developments such as AI to have a meaningful impact on people, industry and society. Sabine is a computer scientist with a PhD in robotics. She has 20+ years industrial experience in research, product and business development in 3D printing, software for the manufacturing industry and for healthcare.
Helena Geys
Helena Geys is the Head of Discovery and Translational safety statistics at Johnson & Johson. Helena leads a global group of nonclinical statisticians responsible for the development and implementation of innovative statistical methods in nonclinical safety and drug discovery across multiple therapeutic areas (cardiovascular disease, metabolism, immunology, infectious diseases, vaccines, oncology).
Kris Peeters
Kris Peeters is the Founder and CEO of Dataminded, a company that helps businesses scale successfully with data and AI, offering strategies, GenAI, and data platforms for superior insights and innovation. Kris brings a passion for data analytics, data platforms, and artificial intelligence from an engineering perspective.
Stefano Moi
Stefano Moi werkt bij The Value Hub als Digital Coach en AI Strategist. Zijn expertise ligt in het begeleiden van bedrijven tijdens hun digitale transformatie. Hij werkt rond innovatiestrategieën, helpt bij het vormgeven van een digitale visie en is altijd bezig met de nieuwste ontwikkelingen op het gebied van AI. Als je wilt weten hoe digitale innovatie en AI jouw bedrijf kunnen transformeren, wijst Stefano je graag de weg.
