Data is becoming more and more importing in our society. However to obtain relevant information from a vast amount of data is not a straightforward task. Therefore these courses will acquaint the participants with modern tools and techniques to obtain some insight on your data. This encompasses proper handling of data (big data, data management,...), graphical representation of your data and the use of algorithms to make some predictions on unseen data (like machine learning techniques).
For this objective we collaborate with the Flames network (Flanders Training Network for Methodology and Statistics) and set up a data science track. We mainly focus on young researchers but the courses are also open to participants from outside academia.

Are you an AI researcher with knowledge of these subjects:
- unsupervised learning
- neural networks and deep learning (beginner level)
- reducing the dimensionality of data
