A staff member of the Knowledge Centre Data & Society will introduce the basic terms and concepts of the General Data Protection Regulation
(GDPR) in an AI context and supplement them with some useful tips and
tricks. Questions that will be addressed include: when is data
'personal'? When do you need to perform a DPIA in relation to AI
systems? Why do some organisations have a DPO and when should you
contact your DPO?
Furthermore, depending on the target audience, the contributor will also briefly discuss the Ethical Guidelines for Trustworthy AI and the seven key requirements.
The development, deployment and use of AI systems must meet these
requirements to be considered Trustworthy AI, privacy and data
governance being one of them.
Lecture of 1 hour (to prepare yourself, you can consult the privacy guidelines and policies of your organisation).
