Cluster analysis with SAS Eguide, SPSS and R
Multivariate data consist of observations on two or more variables for each individual or unit. The variables will be generally correlated, and a variety of techniques are available to analyse these data. The objective of cluster analysis is to form groups of observations such that each group is as homogeneous as possible with respect to certain characteristics. The groups are as different as possible.
