The course consists of 3 evening lectures:

  1. Quantum Applications & networking reception 

    The purpose of this evening lecture is to create awareness of quantum technology. An overview will be given of where quantum technology could be useful, while introducing the audience to the basics of quantum information theory.

     

  2. Quantum Theory

    During this evening lecture, insight will be given on the basic principles of quantum mechanics and how entanglement and superposition in qubits can be used in future quantum technologies.

     

  3. Quantum Implementation

    During the last evening lecture, the focus will be on the implementation aspects of quantum technologies. Additionally, insight will be given on quantum telecommunication and post-quantum cryptography.
