Spatial omics

13 jun. 2024 - 14 jun. 2024

This conference brings together experts from academia and industry to present their most recent discoveries on spatial omics technologies, an emerging research discipline that has been steadily gaining importance over the past few years. Spatial technologies allow to accurately map out the role of each cell in an organ, thus enabling the identification of specific biological scenarios and to predict for instance disease outcomes.

Spatial omics technologies

Spatial omics technologies are an emerging discipline in scientific research that has been steadily gaining importance over the past few years.

Spatial technologies allow researchers to accurately map out the role of each cell in an organ. In this way, it becomes possible to identify specific biological scenarios to anticipate future developments in, for instance, the environment of cells. This, in turn, can help researchers predict disease outcomes or whether certain cancer cells will be susceptible to a proposed treatment like immune therapy.

The conference

The conference brings together experts from academia and industry who will present their most recent discoveries during the following sessions.

  • Spatial transcriptomics
  • Spatial proteomics
  • Spatial metabolomics
  • Multi-omics
  • Computational & data analysis integration
  • Emerging technologies
