Nathalie A. Smuha is an Assistant Professor of Law at the University of Toronto. Her work explores how AI affects human rights, democracy, and the rule of law. She advised the EU and Council of Europe on AI ethics and regulation, and authored Algorithmic Rule by Law (Cambridge University Press, 2025).
