Martin Guay

Martin Guay is a Professor at the Department of Chemical Engineering at Queen’s University (Canada). He received his PhD from Queen’s University in 1996 and his research interests include extremum-seeking control, nonlinear model predictive control, adaptive estimation and control, and geometric control. Dr Guay has received several awards, including the Syncrude Innovation Award, the D.G. Fisher Award from the Canadian Society of Chemical Engineers, and the Premier Research Excellence Award. He serves as a Senior Editor for IEEE Control Systems Letters and Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Process Control, and also as an Associate Editor for Automatica, the IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control, the Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, and Nonlinear Analysis: Hybrid Systems.
