Quetelet Society
The Adolphe Quetelet Society is an official region of the International Biometric Society (IBS). As such the society endorses the same objectives as its mother organization: promoting the development and application of statistical and mathematical theory and methods in the biosciences, including agriculture, biomedical science and public health, ecology, environmental sciences, forestry, and allied disciplines.
As a Belgian region of the IBS, we focus our activities to community building, promoting our discipline, supporting students and young statisticians, facilitating the connection with IBS and its activities, and collaborating with other local organisations that are active in the statistics discipline.
