Tess Ysebaert

Dr. ir. Tess Ysebaert joined VITO in 2023 as a junior researcher in the team of Stijn Vranckx, focusing on air quality modeling. Her work covers the entire modeling chain, from emissions to concentrations, driven by her passion for new technologies and her commitment to making a positive environmental impact. Before joining VITO, Tess obtained a PhD at the University of Antwerp, where she conducted research on the deposition of particulate matter on plants in so-called green façades. With this expertise, she continues her innovative air quality research at VITO and is also responsible for the team’s communication.
