replace privacy as the social norm and ideal', 'privacy is a passing
artifact of the industrial age'. These are a few notable quotes from
privacy experts when asked to reflect on the future of privacy.
In this lecture, we dwell on the concept of 'privacy' and 'data' and what exactly this means for technological innovation. Using concrete examples and our own social science research, we will elaborate on various privacy dilemmas and problems related to data collection and use.
