AI Liability: Where should the European Union (not) go?
A lot has been happening at the EU level on the regulation of AI and liability in particular. Recently, the European Commission withdrew the proposal for an AI Liability Directive. This potentially paves the way to new initiatives on AI liability, either at EU or national level (if needed at all) and academic discussions.
Practical information:
During this topical webinar, several experts will give their view on the ways forward for the European Union. Should we harmonise AI liability? Which aspects of it? What is the link with the AI Act? What about the proposals on the operator’s liability? What is the role of national law? Should the AILD proposal be reconsidered? Once the experts have given their views, there will be a panel discussion and room for a Q&A with the audience.
