Lieven Scheire is of course the face (and voice) of Nerdland, through which he - together with a small army of equally geeky friends - brings science and technology to a wide audience. The Belgian comedian and physicist wrote several bestselling Nerdland book series, hosts the podcast of the same name, created science programmes for TV and also organises the country's biggest science festival with Nerdland Festival. In 2023, it had more than 20,000 visitors.
His mix of science and comedy, but equally of extensive dossier knowledge and witty light-heartedness is infectious. And that ensures that his new hall show on artificial intelligence also attracts full houses everywhere.
