AI Opportunity Fund
VAIA receives financing of the Centre for Public Impact, with the support of Google.org AI Opportunity Fund, for the project "From AI to Z: AI training for librarians". In this project, VAIA and Hub-C of Cultuurconnect will empower 300 Flemish librarians to integrate AI into their work in 2025 and 2026. By equipping libraries with AI knowledge and skills, they can continue as digital learning and access hubs, fostering a better-informed and connected community. This will enhance their services and drive innovation in Flanders.
Centre for Public Impact
The Centre for Public Impact, with support from Google.org, is supporting workers across Europe who are most impacted by workforce transitions brought on by AI. With funding from the Google.org AI Opportunity Fund: Europe, the Centre for Public Impact is providing selected organisations with bespoke AI training and cash support, to equip underserved workers with the AI knowledge and tools needed for long-term professional success.
VAIA receives a support package of the Centre for Public Impact within the AI Opportunity Fund to manage the project "Van AI tot Z: AI-training voor bibliotheekmedewerkers".
Cultuurconnect
Hub-C is the new learning and innovation hub for digital transformaton of the Flemish cultural sector. Cultuurconnect aims for digital innovation in art and culture, so that we also remain relevant tomorrow. Cultuurconnect bridges the gap between local culture houses, libraries, governments, technology players and artistic initiatives.
