Gene Vangampelaere

As a Microsoft Innovative Educator Expert for +10 consecutive years, I bring a wealth of experience in streamlining digital workspaces, crafting low-code solutions, and enhancing business processes with cutting-edge technologies. My expertise spans Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, generative AI, and digital entrepreneurship, where I bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Currently, I serve as a lecturer in Applied Computer Science at Howest, where I inspire students and professionals alike through innovative masterclasses, workshops, and international collaborations. Whether it’s organizing a hackathon, hosting AI-focused masterclasses, or delivering talks on business process management, I thrive on empowering others to harness the potential of AI and digital tools.

I am passionate about connecting ideas, technologies, and people. From mentoring young talent to leading unique projects like AI Wine Tasting or facilitating international tech weeks, I aim to make technology accessible, impactful, and relevant to real-world challenges.

When I’m not teaching or developing next-gen solutions, you can find me engaging in community initiatives like Meer Bomen in Roeselare, curating events, or supporting lifelong learning in IT for seniors.

Let’s connect if you share a passion for innovation, education, or technology-driven growth!
