Fabrice Deseyn

Fabrice is a Platform Architect, Team Lead, and Global Competence Lead for Databricks at Cegeka, a certified Databricks Champion, and co-admin of the Databricks User Group Belgium. With over 8 years in the data industry, his journey started in business engineering before quickly evolving into building scalable data platforms from scratch — tackling everything from real-time IoT streaming pipelines to enterprise-grade lakehouse architectures. Passionate about pushing the boundaries of what data platforms can do, Fabrice has spoken at multiple events such as Dataminds Connect and Databricks Data & AI World Tour Amsterdam — bringing both the architectural depth and hands-on experience to make complex topics land.
