What will you learn?

We begin by defining GenAI agents as systems that autonomously plan and act by leveraging tools, memory, and workflows, going beyond traditional text generation. Reasoning models, on the other hand, focus on advanced decision-making and step-by-step problem-solving, making them ideal for complex tasks that require accuracy and interpretability.

The lecture contrasts these innovations with Large Language Models (LLMs), explaining how agents and reasoning models build on LLMs' strengths while addressing their limitations. We also highlight the growing ecosystem of platforms and tools – such as ChatGPT, Claude and Zapier – that enable businesses to deploy these technologies effectively.

Finally, we discuss their entrepreneurial impact, from automating operations and scaling services to driving innovation, helping entrepreneurs harness GenAI to create smarter, more efficient, and competitive solutions.
